Concerns for Darcie Goobie, missing from Hastings
Police are searching for teenager Darcie Goobie, who is missing from Hastings.

The 15-year-old was last seen near her address about 2pm on Wednesday 26 August and officers are appealing for anyone who sees her to get in touch. She left her house on foot.

Sussex Police donates £91,000 to help local organisations during Covid-19 crisis
Sussex Police has donated a total of £91,000 to charities and local organisations to help during the Covid-19 crisis. 

The funds went to 134 different organisations across Sussex through the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from the sale of unclaimed lost property and property confiscated by order of the courts and then sold.

Appeal for witnesses after aggravated burglary in Hastings
Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated burglary in Hastings.

Officers were called to a property in Brackendale around 11.40pm on Thursday (August 20) to reports of two men entering and threatening the occupant with a firearm.

Man attacked in Hastings town centre - witnesses sought
Police in Hastings are seeking witnesses to a late night attack on a man in the town centre.

Sometime around 1am Friday 14 August, the 29-year-old man was attacked by a group of between 10 and 12 young men and women while he was walking in the Priory Meadow, Kings Square area of central Hastings.

Two arrested and two weapons seized in Rother day of action
Police made two arrests and seized two weapons in a day of action in Rother.

Officers spent their shift on Friday (August 14) with a specific focus on tackling knife-related crime and anti-social behaviour in the district.

It was one of a number of days of action across Sussex using Home Office funding dedicated to tackling knife crime and serious violence.
